The Mill Adventure Achieves ISO 27001:2022 Certification

Technology-focused platform provider The Mill Adventure (TMA) has achieved ISO 27001:2022 certification, underlining its deep commitment to compliance and Information Security.

The 2022 update to the ISO 27001 standard includes new and improved controls to help organisations anticipate and protect against modern cyber risks. These updates cover crucial areas like threat intelligence, data masking, data leakage prevention and web filtering. The upgraded, more stringent standard adds to TMA’s previous ISO 27001:2013 certification.

Achieving the internationally recognised ISO 27001:2022 standard highlights TMA’s robust security management processes, validating the provider’s commitment to protecting client and stakeholder data from ever-evolving digital threats as it aims to foster further growth in regulated markets worldwide.

The gaining of ISO 27001:2022 follows on from TMA’s appointment of Gerardo Prieto as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), spearheading a security team that provides its global operator partners with future-proofed, proactive protection against malicious attacks.

Currently active in Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Malta and Sweden, TMA is also live in Georgia through a local B2B partnership. The provider is set to soon launch with partners in Portugal, Ontario (Canada), Netherlands and Estonia.

TMA is a Malta-based iGaming platform provider that places a strong focus on technical expertise, full compliance in regulated markets and a partnership-led approach to success. The company’s groundbreaking innovations include SmartLobbies, a fully automated casino lobby management system, and a games personalisation solution powered by AI , and Betpool. This social feature allows users to pool funds for a shared iGaming experience across casino, live casino and sportsbook.

The platform also leverages real-time Business Intelligence tools that allow operators to continually monitor, analyse and optimise performance within a true omnichannel offering full regulatory support across multiple jurisdictions.

Gerardo Prieto, Chief Information Security Officer at The Mill Adventure, said: “Achieving the ISO 27001:2022 standard is a cornerstone of our commitment to partners. It provides verifiable assurance that our platform is built on a foundation of world-class security, enabling them to operate with confidence in the world's strictest regulatory markets.

“This is a testament to the dedication of our entire team, who champion security in everything they do.”
