Okada Manila has introduced a dedicated gaming area featuring 70 slot machines from AGS and Aruze Gaming Global, adding a new product showcase to its casino floor as the Philippine resort continues to develop its gaming entertainment offering.

Unveiled on October 25, 2026, the new area is positioned at the entrance to the gaming floor from the property’s Pearl Lobby. The resort describes the concept as the Philippines’ first dedicated “New Game” zone and says it is also the first of its kind in Asia.

The installation brings together titles from two suppliers in one location, giving visitors a designated area to explore their latest games. Each supplier contributes 35 machines, with six game families represented across the installation.

The launch adds another feature to the gaming offering at Okada Manila, an integrated resort in Entertainment City, Parañaque, that combines casino facilities with accommodation, dining and entertainment.

Okada Manila slot zone features six game families

The new Okada Manila slot zone is divided equally between games supplied by AGS and Aruze Gaming Global. Its selection covers three featured game families from each supplier.

AGS contributes Legends of Imperial 88, Triple Coin Treasures and Rakin’ Bacon! Triple Oink. Aruze Gaming Global’s lineup includes Triple Treasure Pot Spin, Cash Master Blaster and Horrorific!

The six-family selection gives the dedicated area a broader product mix than a display focused on a single game or supplier. It also creates a central location where guests can encounter several titles without searching across different parts of the casino floor.

The resort has installed LED screens around the area, incorporating visual content designed to complement the machines. The screens and entrance positioning make the zone a visible feature for guests entering the gaming floor through Pearl Lobby.

However, the launch announcement does not disclose machine-by-machine performance figures, expected revenue contributions or targets for player engagement. The commercial impact of the installation will therefore depend on how guests respond after the public opening.

Suppliers gain a dedicated showcase in the Philippines

The project provides both suppliers with a prominent setting to present their products to local and international casino visitors.

Rick Colman, vice president of electronic gaming operations at Okada Manila, said the resort wanted players to have the opportunity to experience games early at the property. He also described the dedicated space as a way to give guests more opportunities to discover new titles.

For AGS, the installation has an additional regional dimension. Its games reach Asia through Mindslot-e, the supplier’s exclusive distributor in the region. Mindslot-e director Deric Goh said the opening represented the first dedicated AGS zone in Asia.

Aruze Gaming Global is also using the project to bring its products to a varied audience. Matthew Lai, the company’s business development and operations adviser, said the partnership would expose its titles to local and international guests.

The arrangement gives the resort a structured way to introduce new products while providing the suppliers with a dedicated physical showcase. Whether the model is expanded to other properties remains unclear, as the announcement did not outline additional locations or a rollout schedule.

VIP members received early access

Before the public opening, 70 invited members of Okada Manila’s Reward Circle loyalty programme received early access to the games.

According to the announcement, each eligible VIP member received PHP5,000, equivalent to approximately US$80, in slot bonus credits, alongside a gift sponsored by a supplier.

The preview linked the launch to the resort’s existing customer loyalty programme. It also allowed selected members to experience the new installation before it became available to the wider casino audience.

The announcement did not specify the terms attached to the bonus credits, including any wagering requirements, expiry dates or restrictions. Those details should not be assumed from the reported value of the credits alone.

New installation arrives amid a decline in slot revenue

The launch comes against a mixed operating backdrop for Okada Manila’s gaming business.

Preliminary third-quarter 2026 figures released by parent company Universal Entertainment Corp. showed that gaming machine revenue declined 4.0% year on year to PHP2.88 billion, or approximately US$45.3 million.

At the same time, the amount wagered on gaming machines, known as handle, increased by 5.6%. The machine win rate fell to 5.1%, compared with 5.7% in the same quarter a year earlier.

These figures provide context for the launch but do not establish that the new zone was introduced in response to the revenue decline. The announcement did not directly connect the installation to a recovery plan or identify a financial target for the new machines.

The figures also illustrate why machine revenue should not be assessed through handle alone. A higher amount wagered can coincide with lower revenue when the proportion retained by the casino changes.

The new installation may give the resort another way to present fresh content to visitors, but its contribution to overall gaming results cannot yet be measured from the launch announcement.

What the launch means for Okada Manila

The 70-machine installation strengthens the resort’s focus on presenting new gaming products in a dedicated setting. Its location near the Pearl Lobby entrance also gives the participating suppliers visibility at a key point on the route into the gaming floor.

For AGS and Aruze Gaming Global, the project provides an opportunity to introduce selected game families directly to casino customers in the Philippines. For the resort, it adds a defined product showcase to an established gaming operation.

The immediate development is the opening itself, rather than a confirmed expansion programme. No further installations, revenue forecasts or additional supplier agreements were announced alongside the launch.

Attention will now turn to whether the six game families attract sustained interest and whether the dedicated format becomes a longer-term feature of the resort’s gaming strategy. Until further operating data becomes available, the zone’s financial contribution remains unconfirmed.
