The Mill Adventure appoints Gerardo Prieto as Chief Information Security Officer, strengthening its commitment to advanced protection and compliance in iGaming.

Technology-focused platform provider The Mill Adventure (TMA) has appointed Gerardo Prieto as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), underlining the company’s commitment to offering the highest levels of protection for its partners and their customers.

Prieto will spearhead a new security team at TMA, establishing and rolling out security pillars that will provide its partners with proactive protection against malicious attacks. He will also lead the strategy for navigating the complex regulatory landscape, integrating stringent data protection and privacy standards into TMA's core security framework.

Prieto is an experienced security leader who has successfully designed a series of robust security programmes, finding innovative solutions to complex security challenges. In previous roles, he has served as Director of Technology at Agora: The Worldwide Awards and Information Security Director at AI software development specialist Aifi, leading the strategy and execution across a wide range of areas.

The appointment of Prieto reflects The Mill Adventure's commitment to supporting customers in regulated iGaming markets with a solution that leverages advanced technology to protect from harmful actors and navigate complex regulatory challenges.

Currently active in Germany, Austria, Malta and Sweden, TMA is also live in Georgia through a local B2B partnership and will soon launch in Portugal, Ontario (Canada), Netherlands and Estonia.
