MANILA, Philippines (September 15, 2026) PAGCOR regulatory reforms are set to take center stage at the 2026 IAG Academy Summit, with Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco opening the two-day industry gathering with a keynote address focused on the regulator’s ongoing transformation.

The fourth edition of the IAG Academy Summit began Tuesday at Newport World Resorts in Manila as part of IAG EXPO week. According to the event program, Tengco’s keynote is scheduled as the opening substantive session of Day One, where he is expected to provide an update on PAGCOR’s efforts to separate its regulatory responsibilities from its commercial operations and outline his outlook for the Philippine gaming sector.
