DigiPlus Interactive Corp has appointed Graham Tidey as Brazil country manager, boosting its expansion with the former British consul and iGaming expert.

DigiPlus Interactive Corp has appointed Graham Tidey as country manager for its Brazil operations. The Philippine-based online gaming firm disclosed the hiring in a notice to the Philippine Stock Exchange on February 28, 2025. 

Who is Graham Tidey? 

Tidey has an extensive, two decades of experience in online gaming and regulatory affairs. His background includes advising major betting brands like DraftKings and Bally’s, working with gaming oversight agencies, serving as British consul in Brazil, and building strong relationships with key government and business figures.

He also led MarketLaunch, a firm that helped top iGaming companies get licensed and expand.

Previously, he served as British Consul in Brazil for the UK’s Foreign Office, giving him firsthand knowledge of the country’s business and regulations. Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, he has built strong ties with regulators, operators, and investors. His experience covers everything from operations and licensing to mergers, acquisitions, and customer growth.

How This Matters to DigiPlus

It can be recalled that DigiPlus, one of the Philippines’ largest iGaming platforms, is trying to expand to Latin America to capitalize on the popularity of casino games in the area. DigiPlus earlier said they were looking for a local partner in Brazil to oversee their operations. 

DigiPlus is positioning itself for success in Brazil’s online gaming sector. The country is rolling out new regulations, and Tidey’s experience in both government and gaming could help the company navigate the legal framework. His deep ties with Brazilian officials may also smooth the way for DigiPlus as it sets up operations.

DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio Tanco explained the decision: "We want to do things right. Graham knows the key people in Brazil, and his experience will help us grow the right way."

DigiPlus recognizes Brazil’s potential and is investing in top-tier leadership, local partnerships, and responsible gaming initiatives to ensure long-term success.

As country manager, Tidey’s priorities include navigating regulation, fostering strategic partnerships, and building local expertise for DigiPlus Brazil.

What’s Next?

Tidey is prepared for the challenge. "I'm eager to take on this role," he said. "We want to run a legal and responsible gaming business in Brazil."

DigiPlus will operate in Brazil through its local unit, DigiPlus Brazil Interactive Ltda. The company plans to launch services soon as it enters South America’s largest gaming market.
