Brazil Pix payments fell 10% after the country introduced sweeping restrictions on online betting and iGaming. The decline comes as authorities expand enforcement across payment systems, betting websites, mobile apps and digital advertising. Brazil’s Central Bank has also introduced measures requiring financial institutions to block transactions linked to fixed-odds betting, adding further pressure on operators and the country’s regulated gambling market.
