Dabble Sports has paid a A$1.0692 million penalty after Australia’s ACMA found multiple BetStop self-exclusion breaches. The regulator said 157 wagering accounts were not closed after customers registered with the national self-exclusion scheme, while 165 self-excluded customers received 839 electronic messages. Dabble must also undergo an independent compliance review as tougher BetStop penalties approach in 2027.
