Brazil has referred 16,627 illegal betting websites for blocking, according to the Ministry of Justice and Public Security. The action follows Provisional Measure No. 1,394/2026, which the government says prohibits betting operations and advertising nationwide. Authorities also identified 20,318 pages, profiles, groups and servers across digital platforms.
